When you choose the outdoor lighting, be very particular about the material for the fixtures because for long term use in the outdoor, you need a really sturdy material. You get them in all variety, aluminum, copper and wood. Go for the color black or dark colors finishes for the fixtures that ensure amicability with the outdoor colors such as green garden and outer space.
Quick Tip: If possible, instead of ceiling fixtures, go for muted floor lighting (possible even with small LED lights that you can just place on the floor). The effect will be more dramatic.

The oversized LED bulbs are also a reason why there not very popular and the manufactures R&D are working on sizes that will fit our already existing fixtures.
